Last week I panicked, my laptop charger stopped working. I tried many things; unplugging it and disconnecting it from the adapter, that square thing on the cord and plugging it in again. Normally the charger sign says “plugged and charging” but now it said “plugged” and not charging.

My HP laptop charger seemed to be damaged and, as I am not an electronic guru, I did not know what to do. But I need my laptop for my work and that made the problem more urgent. Luckily I have a friend that knows about these things and he told me to check the following.
